"Hypnotherapy" by Dave Elman
This is without a doubt one of the classical books in the field of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Dave Elman took hypnosis to a new level with the "Elman induction" as it's referred to now. The book contains a lot of methods for inducing the hypnotic state, and a lot of Dave Elmans personal findings. If you are serious about hypnotherapy, you have to read this book!

This book really is a must-have for all hypnotists and people who are interested in hypnosis. It was my first book on hypnosis, and the book provided me with enough skill to have some experience with hypnosis. Eventually this led to become a certified hypnotist at NGH.
When I started reading this book I just couldn't put it down. I remember reading it an hour before a written exam, because I was hooked on his amazing findings.
